Can anyone think of a nice way to disable the category bar on the home page only? I have images below for all of the categories on the home page only so I don’t really want to have two links to each category for SEO reasons..It will weaken the seo right?

If anyone can think of a way please let me know,

think the way to do this is to copy your theme and edit the nav in the copy as you like. Then select the new theme for homepage in admin section.

does anyone have an alternative method?

I don’t mind writing a php function rather than doing a new theme/view?
