Hi,

I’ve been having a look at the UK English locale and can’t decide whether references to ‘Store’ should in fact be ‘Shop’?

I think Store is an Americanism. Like eBay.com has ‘Stores’ and eBay.co.uk has ‘Shops’.

What do people think?

I just didn’t want to make 121 changes for nothing!

Dave

Ha ha,
That the beauty of the English language.
Department store, high street shop - I think of our own operation as more of a boutique.

So what do you think then?!

I personally think shop. I think that’s more universal, and more ‘English’.

I think boutique is a little bit niche smile

I agree that shop is preferable (and the boutique very tongue-in-cheek).
