I was wondering if there were any plans to implement yum for Magento upgrades in the future.
I have searched the forums for “yum” and “apt-get” and I find very little mentioned about either of these packet managers.
Yum seems to perform really well on CentOS as well as several other OS’s and I was wondering if there was any future plans to implement this packet manager.
I have been reviewing the “Magento Connect” feature in the admin.
I see that I can access Packet Extensions and such, but I see no where in the admin a packet manager for updating the Magento shopping cart.
Am I missing something or am I looking in the wrong place?
