That’s a pretty broad question. What type of integration are you looking at? What type of website do you currently have? Are you just trying to expand your site by adding a store to an informational site? The more information provided, the faster someone might be able to advise on your situation.

I have an existing website with a “Products” page in it.  I would like to intergrate the shopping cart to the product page.  Is that possible?

From the sounds of it you are just trying to use the magento checkout with a list of pre-existing products. So, from what I can gather, you want to keep your current website and essentially add a “buy now” button, or something to that extent, that will add the item to the magento shopping cart and take you through the magento checkout. While, I’m sure that this is possible, I don’t know if it would be worthwhile to custom code a solution. As-is, I don’t think that magento can accomodate this type of situation. If you have a small product list and are comfortable with design, you may want to look at just migrating over to magento, instead of trying to use bits and pieces of it.

Hi guys, I’m also having the same trouble.

I am a designer, we have maintained a site and recently designed the whole site to accommodate ecommerce.
We have all the products designed in put in frames and everything.

Now, we found Magento to be the best product to use in this ecommerce site.
As posted earlier we need to integrate Magento with our existing site.
The admin will be of that from Magento and it will manage the products we have put in our design and of course to put checkout and other ecommerce capabilites.

Is there any chance we can do it? We’ve spend to much time on our existing to start it again from the scratch.

Please help.
