3 Questions, all related to the top header we all have in the default store:
“My Account / My Wishlist / My Cart / Checkout / Log In”

Question 1: Layout:
For a customer, i need to change this.
* All links should be capitalized
* The spacer should be different between the links

Q: I searched for the template but can’t find it.

Question 2/3: Links and Order
I need to add a few links in this header. A few are CMS pages. It should result in this:
- HOME | MY ACCOUNT | SUPPORT | INFO | TERMS | LINKS
The link “My Cart” should move to the right of the page, but this is a layout issue.

Q: How do i add / remove links in this list and change the order?

TIA

can’t find this either. Where in the #!%@ is the actual text for those links? Magento is beginning to look like a hopeless maze to me

I am having the same issue. I have found where some of the links are, (ie in layout/checkout.xml, then under reference name="top.links"), but don’t see where to weight the links for a specific order. Any thought?

Over a year later and still no rational response to this question.

Where are the labels for ALL these links and how to add a new one.

I found the solution here: http://magentoexpert.blogspot.com/2009/03/how-to-rename-top-links-in-magento.html

Very easy! I love you Magento!

I am still having trouble changing the name of “My Wishlist” in the top links section.
Even after modifying the translation file nothing happens, but personally I think that it might just be a work-around solution..
Does anyone know where I can change this?

Thanks
Justin

Go to admin / system / developer

One of the drop downs is “translate inline”.

This allows you to type over translatable text.

OK to follow up, I have translated My Wishlist, but it seems it has to be done every time an additional item is added.

What to do???

You have to change it 3 times.

Once with an empty wish list, then add one item and change it then add one more item and change it again.

wishlist

wishlist (1 item)

wishlist (2 items)

Each of these is seperate code
