Here’s my scenario.
1) Multiple websites (not stores but websites)
2) Each shares the same template/interface, but with different skins - thus layout is the same but look is different
3) Each website has its own ‘About website’ page.
4) Each about page has the following naming convention ‘about_websitename’ . So, John Doe website about page is named ‘about_johndoe’, the Jane Doe website about page is named ‘about_janedoe’, etc
The question is:
How do I code the top links so that website displays a link to its correct ‘About’ page? I was thinking that I could pickup the website name (johndoe) and then create a link by concatenating like so:
echo 'about_' . $this->getWebsite()->getName()
However, I’m not getting access to the appropriate hooks at this point $this->getWebsite() is returning nothing, etc.
Any suggestions about how to approach this problem?
