Error when installing

Shpigford Total Posts: 171 Joined: 2007-09-03 Denver, CO Ignore user	I tried installing this via Magento Connect and put the following in the “extension key” text field: `magento-core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Iphone` I think got this error in the console: Failed to download magento-core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Iphone within preferred state "stable", latest release is version 1.0.0, stability "beta", use "channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Iphone-1.0.0" to install Cannot initialize 'channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Iphone', invalid or missing package file Install Errors Package "channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Interface_Frontend_Default_Iphone" is not valid PEAR ERROR: install failed Signature Hi, my name is Josh.

michaelc Total Posts: 64 Joined: 2008-05-21 Qld, Australia Ignore user	Initially I had no problems installing the iPhone Optimized Theme via Magento Connect, all scripts ran successfully. I did notice that a grey bar appeared under the search field on the shop front (see image below) straight away. After going into the shop’s Admin Console, I can no longer access any of the menus or sub-menus except the dashboard. >:( Definately a few bugs in this one… But that being said, with the mass uptake of the iPhone, the iPhone theme is a great idea and just needs a few tweaks. pfilias Total Posts: 22 Joined: 2008-05-09 Ignore user	When I go to install this via Magento connect in the admin backend, my terminal window shows nothing, yet, when I try to navigate away from the page, it barks at me about PEAR processes still running...showing me no output. :( Any ideas?

chrishelms Total Posts: 6 Joined: 2010-01-06 Ignore user	all my install tries with the downloader also fail at this line: install ok: channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/core/Lib_Varien-1.3.2.2 nothing happens after this anymore… what could this have to do with?
