Hi,

We have just transferred our Magento shop to a new server and everything works fine except to the fact that the ‘manage categories’ page at the CMS is total blank (all of the other pages and the front end are working perfectly), looking at the source of the page reveal that actually no code arrived to the browser the page is totally empty.

I saw that it’s recommended to add the error message but sadly I don’t get any…

Some information about our system:
package type - probably full (there is no division between full and lite at the Downloads page)
MySQL - 5.0.32
PHP - 5.2
PHP is being run as Apache module
It’s a dedicated server

The phpinfo() output can be viewed at http://fshop.epoch.co.il/index2.php

Thanks a lot in advance!
Yonatan

Hi again,

I looked a little at the code and checked some variables, I noticed that at:
class -> Mage_Adminhtml_Catalog_CategoryController
function -> protected function _initCategory()
both $categoryId and $storeId value is 0.

I noticed that $categoryId apparantly doesn’t have to have a value but it seems that $storeId have to…

If anyone know anything please let me know, the project I’m working on is quite urgent.

Best regards,
Yonatan

OK problem solved!

the local .htaccess file overided the php.ini and domain default to 32M
by changing php_value memory_limit 32M to php_value memory_limit 512M the problem was fixed.

the thing that bug me the most about this problem is that I didn’t receive any error whatsoever.... oh well… hope this thread will help someone

Cheers!
Yonatan
