No category header title when using a description… (if you use pictures to display the category title)

For most of my categories, I use a picture displaying the title of the category. But then, I didn’t want to display the category title both (once displayed by default by Magento, and once displayed by my picture).

Then I set that if there is anything in the description of the category (like text or a picture, as for me), Magento doesn’t show the category title in the header.

In template/catalog/category/view.phtml

just replace, line 55

<h2><?php echo $this->htmlEscape($this->getCurrentCategory()->getName()) ?></h2>

<?php if($_description=$this->getCurrentCategory()->getDescription()==""): ?>
<h2><?php echo $this->htmlEscape($this->getCurrentCategory()->getName()) ?></h2>
<?php endif; ?>

After, you just have to insert your picture with a html code in the description of the category, for example (adjust width and height to your picture dimensions) :

<div><img width="557" height="156" alt="Your alternative text here" src="http://www.URL.of.your.PICTURE.jpg" /></div>

That’s all!
