It could be very useful to be able
to sort the list by date (newest to oldest),
a part from alphabetically (the only *choice*, right now),
in order to avoid to have to scan the whole list,
everytime one wants to check for the latest arrivals.
Besides the many Magento Stores made by Forum Members, I believe it would be very interesting for the Forum Members to see what Varien / Magento has been able to do for some of your selected customers (as I understand you offer to take on Store projects on a limited basis).
I.e. a Varien/Magento Magento Showoff !!
But maybe it is too early, as I can image you are still investing most your time into further development of the Magento Commerce solution itself.
Finally! From the very early version 0.x days to stable production-ready, we’ve worked out most of the functional kinks and am happy to announce we have it up and running in production. After implementing a bunch of other solutions (including more costly) we still came back here.
I’m still working on more designs for holiday campaigns, banners, etc...and trying to master the theme structure. It’s safe, secure, and so far, the visitors+staff like the ease-of-use and decent load time.
Our sales people enjoy the admin interface for editing products, which has saved me HUGE amounts of time since they also manage edits on our Amazon environment as well.
