Admin account is stored in DB in admin_user table. I don’t know if that helps you because password is encoded. There is no password recovery function in this beta release.

Hi, the default password should be 123123, like on the demo-admin.magentocommerce.com

if you want to reset it to different password, just run:
UPDATE `admin_user` SET `password`=MD5(’mypassword’) WHERE `username`=’admin’;

Thanks for reply;
But I know that the password is correct. I added another admin account but I couldn’t log in. I added customer account and I was able to login. The problem is with the admin accounts.

Are you adding user accounts from admin area?

If yes, do you add them to any permission groups?

I added admin account directly into the db because I couldn’t login with the default admin account..

I didn’t add them to any permission groups

My question about admin area was prompted by your mention of adding customer accounts..

could you please run in mysql client:
SELECT * FROM `admin_user`\G

and paste the result here?

Thanks
