I’m having a problem with the menu on my homepage - On the homepage only, the menu only shows the top level categories.  The menu won’t drop-down to show the sub-categories.  This only happens on the homepage.  The drop-down works fine once you browse to the category page.  You can see what I’m talking about here:

Does anyone know what might be causing this?  Is it some setting that I’m just overlooking?  Because I’ve installed magento elsewhere and it seems to automatically show the sub-category drop-down with no problem.

Any insight would be very helpful.

I’m still having trouble with this.  Does ANYONE have any idea what might be causing it?  Am I just missing something monumentally obvious?  I would really appreciate some help with this.  It’s the last thing that needs to be done to finish a site I’m working on.

Are your Admin side menus dropping down? do you see a JS problem on your browser? This may be a permissions problem in your /js/ folder.

Thanks for your response.  The menus on the Admin side are fine, and if you go to the category “Parts & Accessories” (which is the category that has sub-categories), you can see that the menu does drop-down correctly there.  It just doesn’t do it on the homepage.  It seems like if it was a permissions problem it would affect all pages, no?
