How about Mal’s eCommerce? While id can be a shopping cart in itself, it can also be used to jut process the total to more than a dozen processors and gateways, including PayPal. And it has a built in affiliate program.

I would love to see a iDEAL implementation, it’s the largest payment method for the Netherlands.

Amazon Flexible Payment Service seems like one to watch in the future. As its name suggests, it comes with a ton of flexibility, a well developed API, and a very reasonable fee structure for transactions.

Are there any plans to implement Innovative Gateway Solutions (Quickbooks CC processing).

Would like to request CyberSource gateway support. CyberSource is a very large gateway provider in the US and us already supported in X-Cart, OS-Commerce, 2CO, etc. http://www.cybersource.com/

In France many of my customers prefer to choose the solution proposed by their bank, and many of them got a SOCIETE GENERAL bank account, this bank got a SOGENACTIF gateway which is really horrible , anyway we got no choice.
It will be really wonderfull if we can have a Magento payment gateway with SOGENACTIF

I am all for the layaway option. this way it could be used as a registry for gifts and multiple people could make payments toward a specific goal.

Hi bluemotion, I’ve just started looking into implementing iDeal for Magento. I’ve worked on one other iDeal implementation for another cart system. I’ll let you know how it goes. (I also posted this in the Dutch forum, in Dutch .)

Paymate is a big one in Australia: http://paymate.com.au/

For the USA at least , this one looks very promising indeed and is currently in pilot: http://securevaultpayments.org/

Also for the USA I think, allows the customer to pay via their own Online banking solution:  http://www.ebillme.com/

Do you want to sell into China?, I hear they have quite a few people in China: http://market.alipay.com/ospay/index_e.htm

I’d suggest Chase Paymentech be added to the list.

With all of these different payment methods, one has to wonder if it would be easier to just open up a generic place for people to throw in thier own payment api and allow for a custom shopping cart based upon the processor. There seem to be so very many, maybe it would be easier to have the top 5-10 then have an “other” solution.
