v1.1 .1
default template (We have slightly modified the default theme in v1.1 but only in css not in the core template files.)

When going through one page checkout billing info is ok but when click continue to go to shipping information (regardless of if shipping is same as billing or new details are being entered) I get a 404 error.

Anybody seen this - been able to understand why?

thanks

in internet explorer you cannot get to enter billing information, as soon as the javascript loads for the one page checkout it is redirecting to a 404 page.

Getting the same thing in Safari - straight after you click on continue, after choosing ‘guest checkout’ it goes to the right place for a split second and then immediately to a 404

thanks that (your download file) appears to have fixed the issues in both firefox and ie.

Just out of interest do you know what was causing the issue in the code - I have had a look threough and could not see anything obvious

thanks for the fix though

@golles

There were a few javascript checks added in 1.1 checking for the “Agree To Terms” feature that was recently added for example.  I basically merged the two files from the default and modern themes.

Glad I could help.  Drove me nuts as well.

I suffer from the same error. I wonder if it has to do with permissions…

I disabled the one page checkout but now I don’t see “Proceed to Checkout” button anymore. It has started since I installed Magento ver. 1.1.2 before that it was alright.

if you are using a custom theme, you may have old .js files in your skin/frontend/default/your_theme/js folder.  Simply copy over the new .js files from the default skin (assuming it is up to date) and your problem should be fixed

Thanks Moki, I downloaded magento again and replaced files in js folder. It solved all the problems. I m updating the default default theme so not sure why it was not working before. You have any idea?

Hi everyone,

I had this same problem for the past couple of days.  I tracked it down to the fact that I modified the boxes.css.  After I copied the default boxes.css from skin/frontend/default/default/css/boxes.css to skin/frontend/default/mytheme/css/boxes.css, the one page checkout worked again.

I hope this helps!

Andy

There is just one problem with your “solution”: how do I get my shop personalised, if I can’t use my personal boxes.css?
Would be nice to know wich part of the modified boxes.css caused the problem… but that’s something I’m not able to research, unfortunately…
