Love the new format of the download page and how you can access all previous versions as well.  Nicely done.

I can only second sherrie. I love the way you have done the new download page with previous versions and how you have gathered resources for to help to install Magento.

looking good! i was just commenting on the lack of older versions the other day.

Would be nice if you guys could actually put a working URL up for people that use SSH to download. As it stands now, you can’t download using the link on the page that comes up after you select the version you want. It just downloads an index.html file:

And even better, why don’t you symlink the latest release to a path that’s always the same. It would help out tremendously for those that have created one-click installers and do manual installs all the time, e.g.:

The same goes for the sample data, a symlinked gzip of the latest sample data would be wonderful.

The lack of direct download url also irked me, trying to download with ssh straight onto my server

I am connected at home with 3g and pay per meg, really don’t want to download to my pc then upload again to server
