I have just upgraded to this version and checked the release notes to find out what had changed. In there it tells you to do the following.
After upgrading Magento to this version you will have to refresh the layered navigation indices. Please go to ‘System’ -> ‘Cache Management’, check the ‘Refresh Layered Navigation Indices’ box and click on the ‘Save’ button. This operation might take some time depending on the number of products and stores in your database.
I went to do this only to find that I don’t have the ‘Refresh Layered Navigation Indices’ box. Please can you advise why this might be.
I did this update as well (magento downloader automatically did all of the newest updates for some reason) and now, when I go to my store (http://www.mysite.com/catalog), I get blank pages! I can get into the admin just fine though..
@marcus that’s not the magento downloader manager, that’s the cache manager..
anyway, after upgrading to the 1.0.987.4, one of my layered navigation is gone, and when I’ve look at the attribute in the back-end, its there, I tried to delete and create the attribute for layered nav again, still no joy, still not appearing on layered navigation. Anyone who experience this kind of problem?

Yeah it’s not meant to be the magento downloader manager, that’s why I’ve put a picture of the cache manager up.
