Javascript no longer functional after installing Modern

After installing “modern” all of the drop down menus have disappeared from both the front-end and the admin.  I uninstalled it, but the problem still persists.

The page is full of javascript errors - most of them are ‘varName’ is undefined.

Has anyone had this same issue?

chmod 755 js js/proxy.php

That one permission change solved the whole problem.

Hi

I’ve got the same problem I think. My button Add to Cart does not work for example (it’s a big problem ^^), as image zoom in the default theme. They both use javascript..
I’ve tried to change the attributes but nothing appends.
I’m going to try to modify the templates… but I don’t think the problem came from there…

In my localhost installation this work find, but not online on my hosting. :|
I’ve even reinstall it, just new and just adding the theme… and.. the same appends.
I’ve copy my localhost theme files and merge it on the hosting… and nothing.
It’s maybe still an attribute problem. Can it be some php config/version problem?

Thanks smile

The file you need to CHMOD is now called “index.php” , not “proxy.php” , and yes this fixes it.
