Magento

Hi everyone.

I’m new to Magento and have recently installed the software at my server.

I have created on product category and have set it as Anchor. After that I have created a new product and associated it with my category.

The problem is I can’t find the category navigation inside magento. I can only find the products using the search.

What might be wrong?

Make sure that you assign top level categories to the root category of your store.

That was my mistake.. I forgot to associate the root category at Manage Stores > Default Store.

Now it is working as I expected.
