Hi everyone,

Got the same question.

I want to quit Virtuemart as I find it’s evolution very slow and not powerful enough for my future needs (new ideas).

My interests are on Ixxo Cart and Magento, but Magento beeing my first choice.

So if someone does know how to import my products into Magento ... that would give me further 1346 reasons to change to Magento! ;op

looking for the solution

Ive been trying to do this for a while now. I cant get CSV-Improved to generate the right CSV file for Magento. Im thinking the only way to do this is manually. One product at a time…

If anyone has figured out a way to do this, please PLEASE PLEASE post here. IIll pay whatever is needed…

Will be nice to have a solution… Lots of all use Virtuemart and want to compare with Magento with all our products configured…

I guess some of you, migrants from VirtueMart,
has to start a *VirtueMart Exodus* group,
like the already-existing *OScommerce Exodus* one

I would also like to have such feature. I am just looking into the magento and I already can say it’s a very impressive ecommerce platform. I will look deeper and I may build an import feature my self if I can’t find one.

Just adding to the list, my client has a shop with over a thousand items setup on Virtuemart and we would like to migrate to Magento, but there’s absolutely no way of typing it all through.
