Can anyone tell me why items such as the Fontis Australia Extension cannot be installed using the Magento Connect installation process.
I have tried to install but it doesn’t work. Is this because it is in alpha ( and I presume same applies for beta) and not in Stable form.
I have checked the forums and knowledge base but can’t find an answer.

Hi Shane,
its seems that u have configured preferred state as “stable” in this
case u can’t install extensions that are in state “alpha” or “beta”.
Please change that parameter in your MagentoConnect Manager.

Thanks for the direction. Have located the settings tab ( missed it previously). Got them installed now so can proceed

Np, please make an update. Bug with debuging was fixed so if u will have some troubles it might help u.

Sorry to be painful but I can’t see any update anywhere.
Went to downloads and the latest version I can see is 1.0.19700, checked the patch and it is the same version number.
Where am I going wrong ?
