Is there a way to turn off Stock Control? I never run out of stock so I never need to enter a quantity.

In a related question, I don’t use weight based shipping, but the weight field is required. Can that be removed as well?

<bump> I too have items that never go out of stock.

Can we turn off or set something so that the items are always available?

You can probably change whether or not the weight is required under Manage Attributes.

I seem to recall that you can’t - which is part of the problem.
