I have installed magento on the server in main root directory public_html and followed the CGI steps and i still get this

The website address is http://www.ukimportdirect.com if want to look but my .htaccess file is CHMOD 755 and same for directory .

If you try to run Magento under our php5-cgi workaround you have to modify your .htaccess accordingly. There are following lines still missing:

UKImportDirect -

SetEnv PHP_VER 5

Where did you get this ? It looks like as you are trying to use your host’s own php5 and not php5-cgi workaround.

Does it really has a ‘.txt’ extension ? Are the permissions on php5-cgi binary and your cgi-bin dir set up correctly as well?

Make sure the AddHandler directive in your .htaccess file is pointing to the correct location for the PHP5 binary. You can often test it by trying to surf to the location with your web browser. For example, if your site is http://www.example.com and your PHP5 location is /cgi-bin/php5-cgi, try visiting http://www.example.com/cgi-bin/php5-cgi with your web browser. If you see a Internal Server Error message, then that means your PHP5 binary is in the correct location. If you get a File not found message, then this is not the correct location.

Installing Magento on a PHP4 server

Hi, I just install magento in my pc but i have have this problem:
Im using easyphp 2.0b1, when i go to easyphp local web i have the instalation page, i accept then terms and do continue, in Locale settings i check Español (España), in Time Zone i check central europe in Default Currency i check euro and do continue and in Configuration i have this message: PHP Extension “curl” must be loaded, i dont have any idea of what is it.
Please, somebody can help me with that, what do i have to do to load this extention, where can i find it.
