Try this:
Set the prices to ‘Suggested Retail Price’ and then add ‘tier prices’ that are only visible to the wholesale group.
If you setup a tier for quantity=1 then your valued B2B customers will see their price and the SRP. You can also setup different tiers, visible to different customers, e.g. one rate for ‘stockists’ and another for ‘dealers’.
If you need to restrict certain dealers from seeing products then you can setup a new store to service just those products, with a different ‘basket’ but going to the same email address.
Since you have to manually add customers to the wholesale group this method should enable you to manage your customers.
Another store view can be added if you need a consumer showcase that does not have ‘add to cart’.
