Other important featured wanted are module products : specials, featured, new_products, bestsellers, best viewed, etc…
We can do it yourself but with actual method it’s so slow to retrieve products ...
(attributeToFilter, etc.)

Wonderful! I think making upgrades easy is the best way to keep everyone using the most current version—good for us and good for you.

Thanks so much for making Magento! I think it is the best open source shopping cart script out there!

I was wondering if any of the new versions are expected to have support for a delivery date calendar? I think there are a lot of businesses (such as flowers shops, gift basket businesses etc.) that need this (also going by the number of questions about this in the Forums).

Thanks and keep up the good work! wink

@romantix

Based on this....

http://www.magentocommerce.com/roadmap

I doubt Varien will be even thinking about this anytime soon.

Perhaps someone in the community will take an interest and develop a module but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. There are very few people that would need this compared to the other things on the roadmap (even though it’s important to you).

Any chance of an ETA? Will it be within the next few days?
I was planning on going live sometime this week, but if it’s only a matter of a couple days, I will wait until after I upgrade…

Thanks :o)

Yes i agree, if you guys can squeeze in a fix for the add to cart slownesss in the next release, that would be the difference for alot more stores being able to go live with magento.

Great work

@kandip

Considering they’ve fixed *215* bugs I’d say there’s sure to be something for everyone here.

Oops....or are you just throwing out some flame bait? Didn’t work!

Where might the upgrade guide be located?  Everywhere I checked says that each magento version should be a fresh install.
