Hi, I’m Przemek from Poland (currently residing in Birmingham/UK) and I’m, to cut the long story short, an E-Commerce nerd.
...and I want all the Magento merchandise too
I’m Frank, and a quick hello from all of us at Webfauna, The Netherlands. We’re looking forward towards being part of the Magento community and working with all of you on making Magento the best e-commerce solution out there!
I have been meaning to do this intro thing for a while now...better late than never...I suppose? I’m James from Houston, TX and I have been eagerly waiting for the Magento release… My team here in the states are already putting our heads together on how we can use this tool to take over the world…
Hi all, a short introduction from the Netherlands, we are a hosting and design company and getting more and more questions about online web shops with a flexible design. Especially the design in Magento is very usable en flexible, so after a search for good shops we ended here. I hope the Dutch language and iDeal are soon available for the new version. Keep up the good work!
Have been an OSC junkie since beta. Magento looks to have a lot of potential. Hoping security is the number one priority and functionality is a fast second. This thing is loaded from the get go. I have also done a lot of work with Drupal and it seems like I am constantly plugging cross site scripting holes. OSC seems to have the big security holes plugged for now. Hopefully Magento was dev’d correctly and wont have holes to plug.
I plan to try this out on a few small sites. Test the waters. Glad to be a part of this new and growing community.
Hi, my name is Konstantin. I was about to buy 200$ shopping cart, but then I read that Magento has been released. I came here to check it out and it’s better then all paid shopping carts that i checked out! I’m not a programmer, but I now a little bit about CMS. I have a site with joomla. I believe I wont have big problems understanding magento.
I’m a Web designer and Programmer from London, UK. Magento Looks Good, it may just convert me from CodeIgniter Framework to Zend one. I also run a web hosting company with over 90server shared between the UK and US.
I’ve been an osc nerd since it was a baby and because of my own limitations struggled through who knows how many store creations, many still afloat after years!!
But now I see over the horizon and the reflection of this thing called Magento has got me hooked.
I’m an old dog and the new tricks don’t come too easy any more, but we’re up there in the race and really looking forward to becoming a Magento junkie.
You’ll more than likely see a question or or five crop up in the forums as we try to get a grip, so give me a break, humor me and give me the answers!!
Overall, it’s great to be part of the cutting edge and for that, hats off to the Magento team for baking this yummy cake!
Hello, I’m Aminta. I discovered Magento 2 weeks ago and joined yesterday night. It feels GREAT, lol!
I am new here and in the eshop thing so I really don’t know where to start, but I am determined and searching for a cool designer.
Hi there,
