@tinytiger: Yes it is! The company I work for is doing that very thing right now. 100% flash front, 100% Magento back. In fact, all you have to do is create a new interface, then switch your .phtml templates from html content to xml. Then, tell your controllers to send xml headers instead of html. I am currently working on a tutorial to create custom modules, as a followup for the wiki article : Basic Magento Directory Overview. If you are still interested in this, I can follow that one with how to configure Magento for flash front ends. If you want to know, please request it, if your question just needed a simple yes or no, I wont trouble myself.
