How do i enable HTML in product description?

Are you sure you can’t?  I’m using html without issue.

Although there are no buttons, you should be able to hand-code any HTML in the description boxes, and it will parse on the page.

If you copied the items into the description with the oscommerce import or some such, you may have to hit save on each item to get the html recognized as the import will cause html control chars to be substituted until you edit and save, at which time they go back to the html values.

I was wondering if you figured out how to use HTML in the product description.  I want to add an unordered list using HTML and when I do it changes the <ul> and <li> HTML tags into something else when I look at the source code.  I tried looking in the system configuration to see if there is anything to enable but didn’t see anything.  For people who are able to use it, how are you coding it?  Maybe I’m forgetting something simple that would keep the HTML tags right.  Thanks for any help in advance.
