Magento

Hi there,

I have chosen to use magento for my webshops, but there is a problem. Magento’s first production release will be around March 31st and my webshops need to be launched within a week.
I was thinking to use the beta version, and let my coder and webdesigner modify it. But when that’s done, can it be upgraded/updated to the production version when it comes out? I mean, will there be any major differences between the beta and production version so it cannot be upgraded?

Probably there’ll be not many changes in layouts and templates so it could be possible to start working on designss now.

Personally i’d better wait for final release but it’s your decision. Most of changes in design you can make directly in layout and/or template files. But if you’d like to change Magento’s functionality you should better wait .

In the next 30 days anything can happen

i would wait a bit as well.
