An update to the forum system was just pushed live and subforums are now supported (up to 2 levels at this point). If you have any ideas/suggestions in regards to the forum structure, please send me a private message.
For the international community, if you are interested in adding subforums for your language, please send me a private message with a list of forums (in your language/locale) and a short description in the order you would like it to appear.
