Extension support

Basic question I’m sure everyone is going to ask. Extension support? How? When? Information?

I’m sure I speak for a lot of extension providers in that we want to get onboard with Magento Go asap, it looks a great platform and many of our customers are asking when we will be supporting it.

Layout Questions - Product Sorter / Static Blocks / Embed Fonts

Hi there,
I’ve got a few questions on layout, I thought I would group together.

Product Sorter & Paginator - Is it possible to change the position of these items to below the product grid?

Blocks - I would like to remove the popular tags block from all pages, or select which pages to view these on. Ho do I do that?

Fonts - is it possible to embed fonts and how?

European VAT

Does Go support European VAT (I can not see any reference in the documentation)? i.e. retail prices to include VAT with VAT element shown in invoice, and option to remove VAT if for export and customer inputs their VAT registration number.

Custom Option File Upload?

Looking over the Magento Go user guide I doesn’t look like there will be a custom option for the customer to upload a file. I will need my customers to upload their artwork and be able to download my templates in order to use Magento go. Would there be a way to do this? It doesn’t seem like that custom of a feature as my wordpress site can do this. Please let me know if this possible, thanks!

Gift registry?

Hi! I am looking at setting up an online store, and was interested in Magento Go. I saw both your features page and the “tour” video mention “gift registry.” However, I set up a demo store with Go, and can’t seem to find any “gift registry” configuration or end-user feature anywhere. Is this available in Magento Go?

To Delete Sample Data

I installed sample data when set-up the store.

Mow how can I quickly remove all sample data? Includes categories, products,attributes etc.

CSS editor not working

I’ve edited the custom CSS file of the apparel theme to include a different background, and remove whitespace below nav.
Here is what I put:

body {
    background-color: #C4C9B1;
    background-image: url("../css_editor_images/pattern_103.gif");
    background-repeat: repeat;
    color: #515549;
    font: 12px/18px Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
}

.top-container { margin: 0; padding: 0; }

But… nothing in my frontend changes. If I load with Firefix, I see my custom background but then the theme background quickly overrides it.

Anyone else having trouble customizing?
