Magento 1.2.0 Upgrade Issues

No Image Browse or Upload Button

I just recently upgraded a live site from version 1.1.6 to 1.2.0.1. Everything seems to be working fine except that when I go to add a new product and click on the Images tag there are no “browse” or “upload files” buttons on the page. I’ve attached a PDF file with a screen capture of what I’m getting. Can anyone tell me how to fix this???????????

I try to upgrade to 1.2.1 from 1.2.0.3 through Magento Connect Manager and after all downloading this error occur:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 30408704) (tried to allocate 1113629 bytes) in /homepages/8/d110405264/htdocs/CBOnline/magento/downloader/pearlib/php/PEAR/Registry.php on line 1059

Anybody knows what is wrong?

Redirect to cart after shipping methods in checkout are showed

Hi,
I have a small problem after upgrade from 1.1.6 to 1.2.0.1.
When I want to choose any shipping method in checkout process, I’m redirected to /checkout/cart.
I think Magento use the “failure variable” in /app/design/frontend/*/*/template/checkout/onepage.phtml ->

var checkout = new Checkout(accordion,{
        progress: 'getUrl('checkout/onepage/progress') ?>',
        review: 'getUrl('checkout/onepage/review') ?>',
        saveMethod: 'getUrl('checkout/onepage/saveMethod') ?>',
        failure: 'getUrl('checkout/cart') ?>'}
    );

The question is: Why does Magento redirect me to “failure URL”??

Missing “Downloadable Information” tab in Downloadable Product -after upgrade

Upgraded from 1.1 and I can select Downloadable Product from the New Product but the Tab for Downloadable Information is missing

[SOLVED!] Search on front end returns no results after upgrade 1.1.8 to 1.2.01

When I make a search on the frontend I get no results after upgrade from 1.1.8 to 1.2.01. It doesn’t matter if I even copy-paste the name of the product and run the search.

SLUTION:

1. Manually clear you chache:
In you FTP client go to var/cache and delete all the directories there

2. Rebuild Search Index
In your admin panel (backend) go to System > Cache Management and click on ‘Rebuild’ (next to ‘Search Index’)

At 1.2.1 upgrade get this error - SQLSTATE[42S01]: Base table or view already exists: 1050 Table ‘cataloginventory_stock_status’ already exists

Error in file: "/home/useip/public_html/app/code/core/Mage/CatalogInventory/sql/cataloginventory_setup/mysql4-upgrade-0.7.4-0.7.5.php" - SQLSTATE[42S01]: Base table or view already exists: 1050 Table 'cataloginventory_stock_status' already exists

From other threads found it was necessary to edit file:
/app/code/core/Mage/CatalogInventory/sql/cataloginventory_setup/mysql4-upgrade-0.7.4-0.7.5.php

Look for the line of code that says:


CREATE TABLE `{$installer->getTable('cataloginventory_stock_status')}` (

and insert this new line before it:


DROP TABLE IF EXISTS {$this->getTable('cataloginventory_stock_status')};

Check that single quote marks copy & paste correctly as my first attempt failed due to these.

Then, back to your browser and re-visit your magento base url - hopefully you’ll have solved this error (and probably have a fresh one).

All kudos to spuky and Sindre/Proper Host for the fix; I just tried to make it a little bit more idiot-proof having just gotten through it!

Sessions are being lost - Customers are redirected to home page

I had this problem on previuos versions and apperantly it is still exist (or I would say it is worse now).
During normal visit to my site (http://www.bargaincollection.com) you will notice that you will be redirected to home page (index.php) randomly because the session is getting lost. If you are logged in or have any product in your cart, you will be logged out and/or all products will be removed from your cart and you have to start over.
I am receivning emails from my customers that this has been happening to them alot. There are others that are able to check out.
Is anybody else experiencing this or have a solution?

magento 1.5.1 isn’t working from mobile phone

website works perfectly when you look at it with a PC or laptop, but at thanksgiving, 6 people told me that they tried to look at my site on their phone the day before and weren’t able to view it, so… i checked and it’s dead on my phone and my girlfriend’s as well…

web page not available. the webpage http://*******.com might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

here are some suggestions:

but like i said… it works on a “real” computer.

what can i do to fix this?

Payment method under shopping cart price rule?

shopping cart price rule..

I want to apply coupon code only if payment menthod in the codidtion is selected CHECK MONEY ORDER…

but it is not happening...instead of that if i change the condition and set if subtotal<=200, deduct discount 100. However, if i set the condition to payment method..it doesn’t work..

Do anybody have idea to use coupon code and allow discount if payment method is checkmo?

Please suggest me!

html code display in attributes

Under 1.1.8 i was able to use an html table of information for my Specifications attribute, and it displayed correctly on the product page as a formatted table. Under 1.2.0, it now displays as the raw html code.

Is this a new option i’m not seeing, or something i need to reset in code? I don’t know where to look for this switch.
