I’m having Problems with changing the displayed message for maintenance mode.

I changed the text under System->Configuration->Offline Maintenance, but when log out from the admin panel and reload the website the standard text is showing anyway.

I’m running magento 1.5.1 and just installed the extension. I did not change anything inside its config.xml.

Does anyone know what solves the problem?

Thanks,

I have the store view set to offline and it is showing the holding page just fine...however when logging into the admin area I am unable to view the site on the front end (I still get the maintenance page).

Any ideas?

One of the major maintenance is the updating of categories and products via API. Well with this extension enabled the connection API does not work, I will give this error:

If it disables again, the API works again, but the system will be in maintenance, users will see as products and categories appear and disappear according to browse the store.

Verified in Magento version 1.3.2.3, and 1.5.0 Maintenance Page version, unproven in commercial 1.7.0. Stable?

Hey!

Having an issue with the Offline Maintenance extension, where after a period of time, admin will log off a backend user. It usually occurs after viewing the frontend as an admin. We’ve had some luck getting it to work for slightly longer if we use a https:// url, but we still get logged off.

Disabling the plugin seems to fix the problem, but as we are still developing, we’d prefer not to do that. I’ve tried editing the database’s admin_user extra field with ‘N’, but to no avail.

Anyone encounter this issue before?
