With Configurable Product Hints Magento extension installed, the products will be shown to the customers with the help of an easy-to-use pop-up window. It appears when you direct the cursor on the configurable product or just on the image. The window will tell you everything about your chosen product (size, price, gender, stock status). If you are on the product’s page, this short description leaps out just below its price. The owner of the shop can configure this extension easily. It’s very cozy if the store is based on the configurable products, because you needn’t to click thousands times just to view, for example, what colours are available for this product. Our marvelous pop-up window helps you in this case!

Main features:
Stock attribute rules;
Cross-browser JavaScript;

Complete multistore support;
Maximum number of configurable attributes to process;

I am not sure if this has already been requested, and i know there are alot of posts (although mostly unsuccessful) about how to hack this, but my request would be;

1. Backend functionality to allow the addition of custom fields to check out, such as delivery date, delivery time, driver tips (which add to cost) etc

Surely there is need for other custom fields as well so if we had the functionality to setup custom fields in checkout, similar to product attributes so that so many hacks don’t need to be made to the code, that would be fantastic!

As an European (Netherlands) country I like to disable the state/province field in the admin backend. It is’nt needed for The Netherlands and most other European countrys.

As you can read in http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/26030/ & http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/9439/ more people like to have it removed by the same reason. We can’t find out how this is possible with code hacking.

Thanks in advance!

It would be nice if the login for our stores worked with a drop down when a user scrolls over or clicks the login button. The same way it works to login here on the magento site. This way the customer isn’t taken away from the page they are on in order to sign in.

Customer Products Magento extension has some remarkable advantages for the owner of the store.

For many stores it is vitally important for you to support product dimensions for shipping and packaging calculations.

There are a few ways you can achieve this.

1. Have a packaging control where you enter the dimensions & weight limits of the boxes you use, then also enter the weight and dimensions of the products you carry. The system them decides how to pack the boxes.

or…

2. Indicate a product is “ready-to-ship” always in specific dimensions. This is for larger products or products you never package with anything else because they are prepackaged or a weird size.

Only a couple of my sites could I use magento commerce with (with you only having raw weight available for shipping calculations) since the others regularly run into dimension weight issues with UPS. For instance a larger box might only weigh 10 pounds, but the dimensional weight on it with UPS if it were shipped via AIR could be 50 or 60 pounds. That is a huge difference and it makes dimensional weight support mandatory.

HI:
I am new here but have been reading about Magento since Sept 07.

One of the most important features for my company is that the cart can figure shipping cost by box size dimension L x W x H. Is this something you might add soon?

Thanks
