Pls ur help urgently.. checking with cybersource doesnt work on my magento 1.5. when i select any card (visa, mastercard etc) , the continue button doesnt response, however when i select ‘Other’ it response with the error “there was an error processing ur request. Please try again or contact us” ..

however, when i loged in to Cybersource test server, i see the ‘Other’ transaction there but withis tis error repsponse “An error occurred in the FDC payment driver: smartfdc_ghs_terminal_id is NULL!. Merchant not configured for the following currency: ghs “

If I am reading this correctly it seems as though I’ll need to upgrade Magento, however, at this point in time that is impossible to do. Is there anyway to get this module installed without requiring an upgrade, and if so, what are the steps?

I installed the cybersource payment extension and did all the config as expected. however, on the final checkout page, when i select Visa / mastercard etc and put in the required info , the continue button does nothing… meanwhile if a i select “other” option from the drop down, the “continue” Button” den works… ve been seraching n tryin things out bt to no avail

If this is not the correct way to issue a refund, how should this be done from within Magento? Or is the only way to issue a credit memo and then log in to the gateway to actually void or issue the credit on the charge?

But then, when I then went back to Magento and set Test Mode = No for this payment method and tried it for a live payment of 1.00, I get back the following error message:

Gateway request error:
Security Data: UsernameToken authentication failed.

I know that our Cybersource account is active because I have captured a test transaction through their (live) Virtual Terminal.

UPDATE: (Woops, never mind.)

It never fails. As soon as I finally yell for help I always seem to figure it out myself 5 minutes later. In this case, the problem seems to have been that you need to generate a new Transaction Security Key in the (live) Business Center and paste that into Magento when you’re’ ready to go live. A key generated in the Test Business Center apparently works only for the test site. Seems pretty obvious in retrospect so I feel a little dumb, but I will leave this post up anyway on the chance that it could help someone else.
