i guys i have added the following to the translate.csv file but it has not had an affect on anything:

“<label>Make Check payable to:</label> %s","<label>Make Cheque payable to:</label> %s”
“<label>Make Check payable to</label>: %s","<label>Make Cheque payable to</label>: %s”
“Check / Money order","Cheque / Money order”
“Make Check payable to","Make Cheque payable to”
“Make Check payable to: %s","Make Cheque payable to: %s”
“Send Check to","Send Cheque to”
“Send Check to:","Send Cheque to:”

i thought this should update the wording in the front end but its having none of it

Not sure why you are having to make changes to this file. I’m pretty sure I didn’t edit any files - just installed the language pack.

its been a while since this was raised but things still dont seem to work.. for some reason the translation files seem to ignore this section..

to fix edit

app/design/frontend/default/YOUR-template/template/payment/form/checkmo.phtml

and change the label directly.
