The new method is a quick and easy way of creating new simple products with only minimal data entry.

We have created a video that demonstrates this and which can be seen here.

(Of course you can always use Magento’s import product tool to enter the simple products and then associate them to a configurable product with a few clicks.)

For day-to-day management of a store with configurable products this is an excellent feature.  Thanks again for your hard work!

]]> 2008-05-10 T;07:19:00-08:00 Comment by digital2k6 {url_as_title} I love a lot of things about Magento, but I have to say (with all do respect) I REALLY hope the development team can get this configurable products thing figured out and made more simple.  I’m a computer savvy person using the web constantly and spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to add a product that had a couple attributes like color, size, shape, etc.  Craziness.  I really hope more sense can be made out of this and the whole ‘attributes’ thing in general.  Other than that.  Keep up the great work--you have a great product (that needs some major tweaks imho)!
