On November 13th, Magento, once again, took London by storm with the first-ever MagentoLive, held at the Etc. Venues St. Paul. The one-day conference gathered over 500 industry experts, merchants, developers, Magento partners, and community members together to discuss Magento!
Innovation Fuels MagentoLive
Roy Rubin kicked off the event with an opening keynote, where he talked about Magento being not only a technology leader, but an innovation leader. His presentation added to the energy and excitement to the event, which was felt throughout the remainder of the day. John Lunn, EMEA Director of Innovation, PayPal, took to the stage after Roy, where he discussed the future of online and offline payment solutions.
In addition to the keynotes, attendees had the opportunity to attend breakout sessions focusing on a variety of topics, including scaling Magento for their needs, creating dynamic customizations, increasing conversion rates, customer loyalty, and much more. The sessions gave the attendees a deeper look into the innovation surrounding Magento.
Outside of the presentations, the attendees had the chance to meet and mingle with over 25 sponsors exhibiting products and services, as well as with other International attendees from over 20 countries. There was a constant buzz amongst the attendees as they shared their own Magento tips and experiences, and as they looked forward to the legendary After Party—a Magento tradition--held at the local Amber Bar.
If you missed any speaker presentations, be sure to watch them on the MagentoLive UK site.
