Magento wins ‘Best of Open Source Enterprise Applications’ Two Years Running!
Magento has done it again, winning a BOSSIE for ‘Best of Open Source Enterprise Applications (E-Commerce)’ in Infoworld’s annual BOSSIE Awards for the second year in a row! The awards “recognize the best free and open source software the world has to offer to businesses, IT professionals, and productive individuals who rely on computers to get work done.”
Selected by InfoWorld’s editorial and test center staff, other winners this year in the enterprise category include Compiere, DimDim and Open Source analytics engine Piwik. Also this year the editors of Inforworld have put together a list of the Top 10 Open Source Hall of Famers and a great feature on The Greatest Open Source Software of All Time.
