Magento Connect continues its rapid growth and we are proud to announce that just a little before Thanksgiving day we reached over 1500 extensions!  In case you aren’t familiar with Magento Connect yet, Magento Connect is a marketplace for the distribution of community and commercial Magento products and services.  Magento Connect offers opportunities for 3rd party development firms and individuals to reach the Magento Community by developing extensions to Magento which are available through the Magento Connect site.

We’re currently seeing close to a dozen extensions, themes, add-ons and enhancements being submitted to Magento Connect every day by community members just like you.  Here are some cool extensions that you may want to take a look at that provide some really neat extended functionality to your Magento shop.

One Pica Image CDN - This extension enables you to host category and product images on a separate server with ease. Currently, the extension integrates with Amazon S3, Coral CDN, Mosso/Rackspace Cloud Files, and any CDN, server or service that supports FTP, FTPS, or SFTP.

Catalog on Demand - This extension enables you to link your Magento shop with the Catalog-on-Demand web service to generate direct to consumer advertising and marketing materials from your already configured Magento catalog.

Enhanced Admin Products Grid - Did you ever wish you could customize your products grid in the backend and display extra columns with information that is helpful to you?  Now you can!  Check out this extension which lets you customize your products grid view in the Magento Admin.

EasySKU - Do you have many configurable products?  Is business booming?  Are you having a hard time keeping up with all the different combinations?  This commercial extension will help you create simple products for each configurable combination.

Market Ready Germany - Are you part of the bustling Magento German Community?  Are you looking for an easy way to get your shop online and make sure you are compliant with all the regulations for a German B2C shop?  This extensions will install over 14 modules necessary for regulatory compliance along with Trusted Shops certification to get you up and running in an instant.
