@bonhommie
As far as I can see description and product images are uploaded automatically.

Not for me. All my products on google base are missing their images. There is already a discussion about google base bugs going on here http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/24087/

UPDATE: My product images are suddenly visible on google base, I guess it was taking a while for the links to get crawled. Thanks guys!

Can you please help us to solve this error?

Hi—Great feature, just getting around to using this now.
Any idea if this words with the Google Base Multiple Client account type? It would be great to send multiple feeds to Google Base, one for each store.

This no longer works in Magento 1.2.1. “Expected response code 200, got 400”
13dan.fridman |posted February 26 2009
same here, broken code. it worked once but now doesnt, maybe google fault?
14tradiArt from Spain|posted February 26 2009
“Expected response code 200, got 404” means that our google base accounts are not valid. This is an answer from a google member. The problem now it’s to know why our accounts aren’t valid.
15HumanBeing |posted February 26 2009
It’s not a problem with Google or with our Google Base accounts. A manual export of products using the “gbase.php” workaround posted on the forum imports properly into Google Base. The bug is in the Google Base code in Magento, which may not have been updated to match Google Base’s latest API.

The latest Magentro update promised a fix to a Bad Authentication error… (v1.3.2.2) - However, this still doesn’t work. The video looks like it should work an absolute dream. Bit of a knightmare at present though.
Hope this error can get fixed sometime soon:
#11935: Google Base : Unable to connect - BadAuthentication
What have you fixed exactly? - Thanks in advance....

Still not working on Magento ver. 1.3.2.3

With the code 200 error, for me I fixed it by adding a new attribute to each attribute group of ‘condition’, then setting that for each product to ‘new’.
Condition is a required attribute for google base, which is not auto-added by magento, it seems.
21moomoo |posted September 12 2009
Oh and you need to go into ‘catalog > google base > manage attributes’ and add the ‘condition’ to all the sets.
22SushiTrain |posted October 4 2009
There is a post on You Tube which describes how to setup an attribute conditions which will help.

Does anyone by any chance know how to adjust this to Australia rather than the US/UK/Germany?
23jim_keller |posted October 5 2009
The following steps worked for us on this error:
1. Add a global attribute called ‘condition’ in Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes. This should be a dropdown with at least one option: “new”
2. Apply the attribute to the attribute set for the product
3. Go into the product editor and make sure the attribute has a value (e.g. “new") for each product
4. Now try adding to Google Base
5. Rejoice

That works great, but now I have about 1,000 products that have to be edited and the condition has to be changed. Is there a way to edit these all at once or do I have to edit all one by one?
25bradandersen |posted November 22 2009
Hello,
You must also Admin > Catalog > Google Base > Manage Attributes > Map Attribute “Condition” to Google Base Attribute “Condition”.
Cheers,
