After two smashing Magento Meetup events in Frankfurt and Paris, we are happy to host our first US based Meetup at none other than the Magento HQ in Los Angeles, CA. We'll be joining forces with Mixergy which organizes events and publishes how-to's for web startups.
In attendance will be the guys and gals behind Magento as well as folks from the Los Angeles tech community. I’m a recent newcomer to Magento but am a convert already. However, being based in London means it’s very unlikely I’ll make it. Is there a plan to record some of the keynote speakers and put them online?
Also, I imagine that this is as much for the Magento people as the users in that you’ll be getting some great (and perhaps some critical) feedback on the product. It would be useful for people like me who can’t get across to see snapshots of the kinds of things that went on. Perhaps they could be put on the website with space to add comments to keep the discussions going ...

@zoooj - This is a networking event. There are no talks per say that are scheduled. We do plan on having future events worldwide including in London. Stay tuned and subscribe to the Magento blog for updates.

It was hard, but I just made it to LA to attend the event.
