“Can Magento do (fill in the blank here)?”
A frequent question that comes up on the forum and through the many emails we receive is:
Can Magento do X, Y and Z?
The short answer to that is yes - Magento can do it all (no restrictions what-so-ever as we like say). If there is a feature you can’t find, Magento’s flexible architecture and open source code allows you to customize the system to your needs.
A better question would be (as I suspect this is the real question), can Magento do X, Y, Z out-of-the-box? For the answer to that, check out the features page

@Travis:
It’s possible. A online laundry sounds cool. You click what you need and print out the shipping label. You drop the box, and waiting the return for next couple days.
:D

One thing that really WOULD be cool is to have the possibility of selling items on mobile-phones (IE: they surf on their phone, in a mobile-compatible view, and buy the same stuff as its on the webshop). Maybe an integration with the Google Android-project could be part of it, I dunno.
And Travis, doing laundry isnt even an issue in 2007: You pitch the clothes into the washing-machine together with some magic cleaning powder, press a button or two, go crawl the Magento-forums for interessting topics for an hour or so, go back to the machine, grap the clothes and put the relevant clothes back on (laundry-machines these days have an addictive way of drying the clothes pretty good as well).

Seriously- Can Magento offer Product for Download instead of Shipping.
Is there a download module/script/plugin?
Also can Magento integrate with Joomla?
Is there a script/bridge wriiten for that to merge control in one admin enviroment?
