“10 Things We Love About Magento”

… I also like is the fact it’s not aimed at beginners. It’s enterprise level, and while I’m sure we will still get a stream of very similar Magento websites, all based on the default theme, hopefully their mark on the web won’t be anywhere near as ghastly as that of other open source ecommerce solutions. But for established ecommerce businesses looking to take their site to the next level, Magento is by far the best open source product on the market and definitely worthy of your attention!

“Magento Rocks!”

… It is the first full blown Magento site we have built, and based on my past experience with other shopping carts I must say Magento rocks my socks! The functionality is great, the ease of integration with Authorize.net was a breeze, and most importantly it is open source. It is wonderful to see a new product turn the whole shipping cart/ecommerce world upside down.

“Magento is by far the best”

First of all, I’d like to thank the Magento team for your efforts in developing this open source software which will surely become a market leader in the eCommerce CMS playing field.

I have developed web sites with Joomla’s Virtuemart, ZenCart, Shopify (commercial) and OsCommerce. Magento is by far the best.

I have to admit that encountered a few problems at first, some of them crippled my installation completely and had to re-install Magento twice. Magento’s architecture seems tricky at first but the docs, forums and screencasts got me up to speed quite quickly.

I can’t stop saying WOW! now. Honestly in 4 days I have got my latest project at the same developmental level as a month and half working in the same project in OsCommerce.

I really recommend it to anyone.

“Magento has been taking the eCommerce software world by storm”

Magento has been taking the eCommerce software world by storm. We’ve been hearing a lot about Magento as a well-designed and well-executed software product, but you’ve got to hand it to the Magento team for awesome community-focused resources like Magento Connect. I can only assume they built this stuff with all the development time ZF saved them. wink Magento is a finalist in the following categories: Best Project for the Enterprise, Best New Project, Most Likely to Change the World & Most Likely to Be the Next $1B Acquisition. Make sure you put in your vote here. Congrats, guys!

“Why Magento kicks e-commerce ass (and why i love it)”

Why do I love Magento?  From a design standpoint… you can literally skin this baby anyway you wish. The Design is TRUELY separate from the code. So CSS fanatics dig in ... The team behind Magento has put a lot of time into developing a smart, savvy system that can deliver results amongst a variety of e-commerce stores. Multiple language support, Multiple stores, Smart browsing via layered navigation, RSS product feeds, tagging and reviewing products, comparing products, product wishlists…. even Product Image Zoom is standard right out of the box. Impressive?  Trust me theres more once you pop the hood.
