America’s First Fashion Magazine Dives Into Content-to-Commerce

Since its inception in 1867, Harper’s BAZAAR magazine has been at the forefront of what the luxury-loving woman wants. And with its recently launched content-to-commerce site, ShopBAZAAR.com, the magazine makes the elegant jump into the future of fashion publishing – taking the magazine’s content and selling it online.

Hand-curating garments and accessories for the site is a natural extension for BAZAAR’s editors but the site’s unique needs called for an innovative Solution Partner who would fully immerse itself into the magazine’s luxury lifestyle-seeking customer profile. For Gifts that Give eCommerce Goals Combine with Social Responsibility

Gifts that Give (GtG) started out as a simple gifting website, but they envisioned a new retail model that would allow their customers to donate 20% of the value of their purchases to their favorite charity. It would be a win-win situation for GtG, their customers, and the charities. The catch was that this business strategy would require a cutting-edge eCommerce solution.

To make their vision a reality, GtG turned to Magento Enterprise Edition and Magento Gold Solution Partner Guidance.
